On 10 and 11 April we were invited by Maison De Greef
and Cedric Hanus (Brand Director N-Europe) to visit the Manufacture Zenith at Le Locle in the Swiss Jura.
The day started with an early flight from Brussels to Geneva, where we arrived at 8 AM, first visit was the Kempinski Hotel at the border of the Lake Geneva where we were invited for breakfast !


after the breakfast we were guided for a boat tour, bringing us to the other side of the town, close to the Rue  du Rhone we we would visit the Zenith Boutique

around noon time again for some great food and a wonderfull view on the lake !!
no need to say we were pamperred again :)

after lunch we had a 2 hour drive to Le Locle where we visited the dial factory of Metalem, unfortunately I could not take pictures here.  After the visit we were transported to Neuchatel where we were located at the Beau Rivage, a splendid 5-star hotel at the border of the lake.

The evening started with a dinner at Le Bocca, one of the best restaurants at St.-Blaise, first we had a visit at their famous wine cellar, hosting more than 25.000 bottles of wine, a true cave of Ali Baba !!

the 2nd day after breakfast we finally made it to the Zenith factory, where we would be getting a guided tour to show us the different stages of production.

definately these where 2 very interesting days, who let us discovering how difficult it is to make dials, and how complex it is to make a quality watch, but who makes it more clear now why these pieces are so expensive.
